Heads up, though! The notification mentions that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is on the verge of rolling out a spanking new syllabus and textbooks for Classes 3 and 6. Joseph Emmanuel, the Director (Academics) of the board, disclosed, “Consequently, schools are advised to make the switch to these fresh syllabi and textbooks for grades 3 and 6, stepping away from the NCERT textbooks penned till the year 2023,” as per News 18 revelations.
The NCERT previously hinted at a grand plan to refresh the textbooks for all grades up to Class 12 in the coming school term. However, as things currently stand, only grade 3 and 6 bookworms will get to feast on textbooks bedecked with newly minted syllabi for the upcoming academic year, with these revision works already in the pipeline.
