**Enforcement Directorate seizes Rs 41 lakh from Bengal minister’s home**
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team conducted a 14-hour search at Bengal MSME minister Chandranath Sinha’s residence in Nayekpara, Bolpur, on Saturday. They seized Rs 41 lakh in cash, the minister’s cellphone, and documents after questioning Sinha for nine hours since Friday. The agency seized the cash as the minister couldn’t explain why such a large amount was kept at his house. Sinha also failed to justify the source of the cash. The ED officers visited Sinha’s residence as part of the investigation into the alleged primary teacher recruitment scam.
